Tennis anyone?
As we entered the Easter school holidays with a HUGE sigh ofrelief, it was time to have our first Tennis Tournament. With great plans to have a fast and furious tennis competition we invited a few fellow karate-ka to come over on Tuesday, before training, to hit a few balls.
After explaining what the 'funny white lines' were on the ground to Delio, the competition really turned out to be who, out of Delio and David, could actually hit the ball OVER the net or actually keep it in the court. We are still debating over who the winner was. :)
After a few hours of 'practise' it became a serve fest between Craig and Ben. I couldn't work out whether it was a competition to see who could smash it the hardest...or who could actually return one of said serves AND get it over the net!!
Jess and Craig seemed to be an unbeatable team, upset only by the pure skill and expertise of Ben and William, although there seems to be a debate raging about how much was actual skill and not pure dumb ass luck. All in all a good day of tennis followed by a brief (very brief due tothe fact the wayer was FREEZING) swim to cool off.
